The Vital Geographies research group announces our Michaelmas 2022 term card!
We are delighted to have four events this term in Vital Geographies, including two book launches from members of our research group: Prof. Matthew Gandy will hold a celebration on his book, Natura Urbana (MIT Press 2022) on Thursday 6th October; and Dr. Olga Petri will launch her monograph, Places of Tenderness and Heat: The Queer Milieu of Fin-de-Siècle St Petersburg (Princeton 2022), on Wednesday 2nd November.
We are also very pleased to announce three short presentations from our PhD students Diane Borden, Anna Guasco and Ilanah Taves. This seminar will take place on Wednesday 9th November. Finally, the Vital Geographies group will support a lunch for our Postgraduate and Early Career Researchers on Wednesday 19th October.
For details on how to join, either in person or online (Zoom), please contact one of the co-convenors: Prof. David Nally (dpn24@cam.ac.uk), Abbie Greig (aeg58@cam.ac.uk), and Lucy Thompson (lt447@cam.ac.uk). All are welcome and we would love to see you at our events this term.
