Restless Development

An international youth NGO, working with young people so that they can lead in solving the challenges we face in our world. Whether that means supporting communities to end child marriage or prevent HIV, Restless Development works with young people to change their lives and the lives of people in their communities.

Restless Development is run out of hubs in ten countries across Africa, Asia and in the UK and USA, with a wider network of partners across the world. The organisation has been working with young people since 1985 and our work is led by thousands of young volunteers and advocates every year.

Youth Employment Programme, International Labour Organization

The Youth Employment Programme (YEP) provides assistance to countries in developing coherent and coordinated interventions on youth employment. The International Labour Organization (ILO) report: "More than 64 million unemployed youth worldwide and 145 million young workers living in poverty: youth employment remains a global challenge and a top policy concern". School of Social Sciences, Makerere University, Uganda

The School of Social Science is one of the largest Schools at Makerere University, dating back to 1963 as an autonomous academic unit. However, the social sciences have been taught at Makerere University since the 1940s with very strong traditions in sociology, anthropology and Political Science. Social Work, Social Administration, Economic and Public administration followed later.
