Spatial Rebalancing of the Economy

With the impact of the financial crisis, subsequent recession, and imposition of fiscal austerity policies across many countries, interest has focused on spatial and sectoral rebalancing of economies. This research theme is concerned with examining the scale and nature of spatial imbalances in economic growth, and thereby the scope for redressing such imbalances
