Welcome to Infrastructural Geographies!

Welcome to the blog of the Infrastructural Geographies research group!

The intention with this blog is twofold. Firstly, we will use it as a means to keep you updated of the goings-on in the research group. Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, the blog will highlight and debate the wide-range of, sometimes eclectic, sometimes contested, approaches to the concept of “infrastructure” being covered by the five strands of the research group (for more information on this click here)!

We envision the blog as an open-ended platform, encouraging both rigorous theoretical reflections as well as methodological experimentations and anecdotal accounts through a constellation of short texts, interviews, video, photography and so forth.

The blog is designed both to address students and researchers alike, and to bridge departmental affiliations. Thus, we would like to invite anyone with a personal or professional interest in infrastructure to partake. And if you would like to contribute, or have any queries or comments do not hesitate to get in touch with the convenors.
