Libby Blanchard studies political ecology, with specific focus on the political economy of climate change mitigation policies, namely the unequal distribution of costs and benefits from climate policies on particular groups of people.

Biography

Career

From 2006 to 2012, I directed the development branch of a US-based coffee importing company to improve coffee producer livelihoods while conserving the biologically diverse environments where coffee is grown. During my six-year tenure, I raised $4.4 million in grants and oversaw development interventions in 11 countries.
