About Cambridge

With its 31 colleges, numerous museums and wide green open spaces, Cambridge breaths both history and innovation. Once home to Newton, Darwin, Keynes, Hawking, 107 Nobel Prize winners and many others of distinction, this city is surrounded by high-tech Silicon Fen business and science parks and is a hub for local cutting-edge industries in technology, biochemistry and electronics. The University of Cambridge colleges and chapels are best admired by punting along The Backs and wandering through the streets. There is time in the conference programme for punting, walking tours and museum visits.

The conference will be hosted by Robinson College.

Robinson College is a new college, founded in 1977. It is set in beautiful, landscaped gardens and is situated close to the University Library, Sidgwick Site and the West Cambridge Science Site, and it is 10 minutes walking distance from the King’s Chapel in the City Centre.

The main venue for presentation will be in the Robinson College Auditorium whereas the poster session, coffee breaks and lunches will be at the Dining Rooms. The Ice-breaker will be in the college Dining Room at 5:30 pm on Monday 13th.
