Later turnpikes

In the future it is hoped to take on the major task of extending the detailed dynamic road GIS from 1729 to all turnpikes (and their successors to 1911). A considerable amount of preliminary digitisation has been done and as of 30 August 2012, turnpike mapping with complete attribute data has been finished for nine English counties (see map).
