MPhil in Environment, Society & Development
Core Paper
The core paper will comprise four blocks of four one-hour lectures. These will be Political Ecology, Conservation and Society, Institutions and Resources, and Power, Civil Society and Social Movements. These lectures will provide a critical overview and assessment of key themes in Environment, Society and Development.
The core course will be examined by one 4000 word essay which will be submitted two weeks into the Easter vacation.
