Tree

The MPhil in Conservation Leadership is a taught postgraduate course that runs for 11 months. The course has two elements, taught modules and professional placements.

Formal teaching is concentrated in the Michaelmas and Lent Terms, from October to March, and students follow six substantive modules spread over these two terms. Assessed work is completed by the start of the Easter Term.

Students also spend time during these first two terms developing professional placement plans, in collaboration with their supervisor(s). Students undertake their professional placements over the Easter Term from April to June, and Summer Vacation from July to August, and submit an assessed placement report at the end of this period.
